Congratulations on making through the entire seminar! You are well on your way to becoming a master craftsman of relay testing.

You can download your certificate of completion from the My Courses page using the Online training Navigation link on the right-hand-side of the page as long as every lesson and every topic in the seminar has been marked complete.

It would really help us out if you could honestly evaluate the seminar.  All of your comments will be anonymous (unlike marked otherwise) and we read every single one.  Please help us make better training courses in the future by clicking this link.

Thank you for this wonderful class. One thing is I did not see a downloadable description of operations.
Could you point me in the right direction, I have two engineers in our main office I want to send this to so they can make sure they do this every time.

Thanks for the kind words. Don’t forget to add a public review at This Link

I added an example description of operation you can download in the Description of Operation topic at this link to the topic

Hi Chris,
Just a quick Thank You for the course, it helps to knock off the rust every now and then

Thanks Gary. Hopefully, we’ll see you in an upcoming webinar.

i really enjoyed the course it answered many questions i had , i am going to review it again, as it will be very useful in future testing thank you

Thanks. Great coarse. I would love to have a similar coarse with out the test switches. This seems to be an ongoing issue in my area. This makes testing more complicated, as I am not a fan of removing wiring for multiple reasons. One the can be re-landed incorrectly two in many cases you can not remove the DC/AC sources. Most places in my area, will not allow contractors to remove wiring with any voltage above 50V AC or DC. Any recommendations would be helpful.
Thanks.

Unfortunately there’s not much you can do except remove wires when there are no test switches.

However, there’s usually no reason to remove the trip wiring because the circuit breaker should already be open. Unless you’re testing a normally-closed motor relay.

Same for simulating a 52a contact.

I try to connect AC voltages and currents where they enter the panel because there is usually better access, better color coding, and less wiring to remove.
