The first thing we need to do is isolate the relay from the system.  These two videos will introduce you to Westinghouse/ABB/States FT Style test switches and then show you the correct order to follow when isolating the relay so that you don’t inadvertently cause a trip or alarm.

These steps will help you make sure the relay is looking in the right direction and is properly configured for the power system it’s connected to.
